Puji syukur kepada Tuhan, pada tanggal 18-29 Juni 2021 telah dilaksanakan visitasi MPHS GKKA INDONESIA ke jemaat-jemaat di Samarinda, Kutai Barat dan Balikpapan. Tim visitor terdiri dari Pdt. Tjia Ing Kie, Pdt. Saul Simatupang, Pdt. Stephenson Yusia dan Ibu Miltha Bethy. Dalam visitasi kali ini kami berhasil mengunjungi 23 gereja, yaitu: Samarinda, Lambing, Tak Remiq, Suakong, Jelmu Sibak, Sembulan, Sambung, Tukuq, Randa Empas, Tende, Jengan Danum, Dempar, Besiq Bermai, Mendika, Lumpat Dahuq, Mantar, Muara Nyahing, Sendawar, Melak, Tondoh, Tendiq, Balikpapan, Juruq.
Visitasi ini memiliki tiga agenda utama yaitu: Emeritasi Pdt. Arnes Letter (Cabang Sambung), percakapan persiapan emeritus tiga orang rekan pendeta dan rapat panitia Sidang Majelis Sinode 03-07 November 2021. Selebihnya, kami melakukan pelayanan mimbar, percakapan dengan rekan-rekan Majelis dan meninjau pembangunan beberapa gedung gereja. Perpindahan Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) juga menjadi perhatian dan pembicaraan kami. Dalam kesempatan visitasi kali ini kami berkesempatan berjumpa dengan bupati Kutai Barat (Bpk. F.X. Yapan) dan melaporkan hal-hal tersebut di atas dan meminta arahan dari beliau. Pak bupati menyambut baik visitasi MPHS dan siap mendukung pelaksanaan SMS 2021 kita.
